Premier League: West Brom played a goalless draw against Burnley at Hawthorn (Highlights) 2020-2021

It's finished 0-0 between West Brom and Burnley in a game that could've gone either way were it not for some excellent saves in the second-half by the two goalkeepers.

 In the opening 45 minutes, Barnes went close for Burnley before West Brom Debutant Grant had a goal correctly ruled out for offside. Both sides continued to press after the break with Ivanovic going closest for the hosts after Pope produced a fantastic double-save to deny Diangana and then Pereira. 

Wood had a glaring chance to open the scoring in the 63rd minute - his header kept out only by the crossbar - before Johnstone produced a stunning save to deny Barnes with Wood hitting the bar again on the rebound.

The result brings Burnley's losing streak to an end and lifts them off the foot of the table and into 18th while West Brom sit just a place and a point ahead. Next up for the Baggies is an away trip to Brighton while the Clarets host Jose Mourinho's Tottenham.
