Arsenal return to the league cup action this night when they host Manchester City.

Pep Guardiola side travel to the Emirates stadium to face a struggling Arsenal. The game is expected to kick off at 9pm GMT. 

The Gunners are struggling for form in the league as they sit in 15th on the twble, but the cup games is a different ball game.

If you recall that Arsenal knocked out Manchester City in the semi final of the FA Cup last season. 

Mikel Arteta has handed second choice goalkeeper, Runarsson his opportunity while it's a different back four, with Sead Kolasinac and Cedric Soares as full backs and Mustafi pairs Gabriel Magalhães who is back from suspension. 

While Mohamed Elneny and Dani Ceballos will provide cover in the midfield. Joe Willock and Maitland-Niles will join the attack which is being spear headed by Alexander Lacazette and Gabriel Martinelli. 

Brazilian Martinelli makes hus first start since he suffered injury back in June.

Gabriel Jesus will lead the attack along with Phil Foden and Riyad Mahrez. 

Fernandinho and Rodrigo will hold thr midfield whike Cancelo and Zinchenko are expected to play full backs.
