Luke Shaw and Scott McTominay doubtful for Man Utd ahead Everton clash

Manchester United return to League cul clash in the mid week. It looks like Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been preparing his side ahead of the game against Everton.
The Red Devils will face Everton in the quarter final clash in the Carabao cup on Wednesday. The game is expected to kick off at 9pm GMT. 

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed there are some doubts for the game against Carlo Ancelotti side. 

Manchester United are in good form following their high flying score against Leeds United which saw Red Devils thrash Marcelo Bielsa side 6-2 at the weekend.


First of all, Solskjaer has handed fans a boost that Mason Greenwood is available for the game. The forward missed the Leeds game. 

“Mason's fit enough to play, he was on the bench [against Leeds],” Solskjaer said. 

It's also been reported by the manager that Luke Shaw was substituted due to injury and he might not be available for Everton game. This means Alex Telles might start at left back. 

He also revealed Edinson Cavani is still recovering from injury and Bruno Fernandes who has been inform so fsr might be rested. 

Solskjaer said: “Of course, Luke [Shaw] came off with an injury so that had to be done, Edinson [Cavani] has been out with an injury for a while, we need to get him going and Bruno [Fernandes] is one that I also have to protect.

"It just wasn't to be for Mason to come on and he will be involved in the squad unless something happens in the next couple of days.”

There are reports that Scott McTominay might also miss the Wednesday night game. The Scotland international reportedly suffered a groin injury against Leeds where he scored twice in the game.
