Chelsea have been enjoying some great run so far this season and Frank Lampard tactics seems to be working according to plan.
It looks like the players the English manager brought in the summer might be finding joy in playing along with each other.

Chelsea currently have one of the strongest squad in the Premier League at the moment.

Blues have been tipped among the club's to win the Premier League this season.

But Frank Lampard attention will be on their game against Krasnodar in the Champions League.

Already, the Blues have qualified for the next round of the competition following their 4-0 win against Sevilla were Oliver Giroud scored all the goals.

Ahead of the game, Frank Lampard has revered that Hakim Ziyech will be out due to an hamstring injury.

Although, the former Derby County boss remains hopeful that the injury is a minor one.

If you recall that Ziyech played 30 minutes of Chelsea’s 3-1 win over Leeds United on Saturday before he was replaced by Christian Pulisic.

“He came to us at the back end of last season and trained a lot,” Lampard said of the signing from Ajax. “The injury [in pre-season] was disappointing and he missed some weeks, but straightaway he showed his intensity to work in the gym and on the training pitches as soon as he was back, and that was why he hit the ground running when he came into the team.

“I hope this is a minor injury. The feeling he had since the game is that it doesn’t feel too bad, which I’m hoping means we’ll be talking a couple of weeks, but we will wait for the scan.

“I’m not worried too much, he’s a fit lad, and he’s shown he will be an important player for us.”

The game against Krasnodar is a game that Lampard might be looking at giving some fringe players opportunities to show case their talents.

The manager has also hinted that second choice goalkeeper, Kepa Arrizabalaga will be in goal ahead of regular number one, Edouard Mendy.

Also, youngster Billy Gilmour will start in midfield. Gilmour is yet to play for the Blues since he recovered from the knee injury he sustained last season.

Chelsea who are third in the table in the Premier League, and have som difficult games against Everton, Wolves, West Ham, Arsenal and Aston Villa before the new year and the manager will be hoping to keep his players fit and free from injuries.
