Liverpool's Oxlade-Chamberlain Return To Training While Matip And Curtis Jones Set To Miss Trip To Midtjylland

It's been gathered that Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain took part in training at Kirkby on Tuesday. 

The Reds set to face Midtjylland in a dead rubber game but Joel Matip nor Curtis Jones were pictured in training.

The Reds are due to fly to Denmark following their afternoon session ahead of the Wednesday evening clash. 

Liverpool have already qualified for the last 16 as group winners following their 1-0 win over Ajax last week.

It appears as though the club’s medical staff are taking precaution with two players as Matip and Jones were absent. 

According to reports, Curtis Jones suffered a hip injury during the 4-0 thrashing of Wolves last time out, and it is possible that he is being omitted as a precaution.
