Ozil tweeted the number 67 alongside a heart emoji on Sunday as he prepares to move to the club he supported as a boy.
Ozil's family hails from the Turkish province of Zonguldak, which has a postal code starting with 67.
The No10 shirt at Fenerbahce is currently worn by on-loan Aston Villa striker Mbwana Samatta.
The Athletic revealed on Saturday that Arsenal and Ozil had reached an agreement in principle to terminate the 32-year-old's contract at the Emirates, which was due to expire in June.
