Photos: Kieran Tierney and Martinelli joined the rest of Arsenal squad in training ahead of Newcastle clash

Arsenal will host Newcastle United at the Emirates stadium on Monday night. The game is expected to kick off at 9pm GMT.

Recall that the Gunners played out a goalless draw against Crystal Palace last weekend at home. 

Although, Mikel Arteta has already faced the Magpies in the third round of the FA Cup which Arsenal knocked them out after 120 minutes. 

Meanwhile, the Gunners have been handed huge boost for the game, as Gabriel Martinelli and Kieran Tierney have recovered from their injuries. 

Both youngsters were pictured in training today at the London Colney this afternoon.

The 19 years old is now back in full training and is available for selection after he recovered from a ankle injury sustained during warm up against Newcastle in the FA Cup third round clash.

While Tierney has recovered from his tight calf which made him miss the goalless draw against Palace. He is back in training with the squad. Kieran will be assessed and tested ahead of Monday’s match.

Although Arsenal have confirmed that Pablo Mari is still a game away from being fit, Pablo has sustained a mild strain to his calf and will continue to rehabilitate in the coming days.

Meanwhile, Mikel Arteta supervised the training this afternoon as the players were put to their paces.
