Chelsea midfield Jorginho has given his opinion following the sack of Frank Lampard as their manager early this year.
If you recall that Roman Abramovich made the call to sack Frank Lampard in January and he was replaced by Thomas Tuchel.

Lampard was appointed in 2020 following his brief spell with Championship side Derby County where he guided them to the playoffs.

Meanwhile, Chelsea finished in third place under Lampard in his first season in charge at Stamford Bridge.

But results haven't were not forthcoming this season and the Chelsea boss Abramovich made the call following the Blues draw against West Bromwich Albion in January.
Former Napoli play maker, Jorginho in an interview with ESPN has stated that Lampard wasn't ready for the Chelsea job.

According to the Italian international, the Chelsea legend returned to the club too early.

Jorginho told ESPN: "[Frank Lampard] came to a club where he is a legend, without having experience at other clubs. I think he came too soon, skipped a few steps ahead and wasn't ready for a job at this level, to be honest."
