If you recall that Davido burst into the music scene when he served fans with his smashing hit single "Dami duro." The song was released in 2001 and was produced by Shizzy.
It's understood that the song recorded massive success which includes air plays on radio and television as well as downloads and streams in major music portals.
Davido was previously rocking the ship of the HKN records which was owned and managed by his elder brother Adewale Adeleke who is popularly called Chairman HKN.
It's understood that the record label was more of a family thing with likes of singer B-Red and rapper Shina Rambo on their pay roll.
But following Davido's break through in the entertainment industry, he went ahead to set up his own team, Davido Music World Wide (DMW).
Early this Tuesday morning, Davido's brother Adewale Adeleke took to his social media platform to reflect on their journey in the industry.
According to him, it's been remarkable and expressed how proud he is to have achieved such great success with David.
He went ahead to upload series of throwback snaps of their journey on his Instagram page.
