Although, Manchester City have been crowned Champions of the Premier League and have already lifted the League Cup. It's understood that Pep Guardiola is aiming at the treble and Kevin De Bruyne will be hoping to be fit for their remaining two games.
City will face Chelsea in the final of the UEFA Champions League on May 29th 2021. It's been confirmed that the final has been shifted to Porto in Portugal.
Recall that Istanbul was suppose to hold the final but due to coronavirus restrictions, it was rescheduled to another venue.
Earlier today, Pep Guardiola confirmed that Kevin De Bruyne has resumed back to training ahead of the final.
Guardiola said: "Kevin has trained the last two days and he feels good. Kevin is important like everyone. When we are able to stick together and push each other, it will be possible to win [the Champions League]."
The former Barcelona manager remains optimistic that the Belgian international would be available for selection for the final against Thomas Tuchel Blues.
Guardiola added: "Everyone is in the same level. We’ll see what his level is, he’s fit and ready to play."
