Achraf Hakimi dedicates his goal in Morocco 1-0 win over Burkina Faso to Christian Eriksen

Morocco defeated Burkina Faso 1-0 in Saturday’s international friendly staged at the Prince Moulay Abdullah Stadium.

Achraf Hakimi’s second half effort separated both teams as the Atlas Lions stay unbeaten in their last nine games in all competitions.

Morocco  took the lead in the 51st minute after the Inter Milan star curled a beautiful freekick past goalkeeper Herve Koffi.

The 22-year-old dedicated his finish to Denmark international Christian Eriksen following his collapse against Finland.

The former Real Madrid star was seen celebrating his goal using his hands to denote Eriksen jersey number 24.

Taking to his Instagram page @achrafhakimi, he captioned: "Happy for the victory and for being able to dedicate the goal to my friend! Stay Strong 💪🏾2️⃣4️⃣❤️⚽️. @chriseriksen8" 

Both players helped Antonio Conte’s Nerazzurri to a first Serie A title in over a decade in the 2020-21 campaign.
