Argentina defeated Brazil 1-0 on Sunday at the Estadio do Maracana Stadium in Brazil to claim the Copa America 2020 trophy.
Arsenal's former goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez was named the best goalkeeper of the tournament. The Argentine goalie kept four clean sheets and saved three penalties against Colombia in the semi final. Emiliano Martinez only made his debut on June 3rd 2021.
Emiliano Martinez left Arsenal in 2020 shortly after he won the FA Cup with the Gunners. He joined Aston Villa for 20m pounds in a bid to play regularly for his club and national team.
Martinez guided Aston Villa to a ninth place finish in the Premier League table last season.
