"Beautiful Madness" - Lionel Messi pose shirtless as he pose with Copa America 2020 trophy

It was a "beautiful madness" for Lionel Messi after he finally broke the international trophy drought with the Albiceleste.

The Barcelona captain guided Argentina to glory at the Copa America 2020 following their 1-0 win over Brazil at the Maracanã on Sunday.

Angel Di Maria's strike in the 22nd minute was enough for the Albiceleste to overcome Tite's men after 90 minutes. 

After the game, Lionel Messi took to his social media space to share some stunning snaps of himself and the trophy.

He was spotted wearing only his shorts and slippers as he squatted for a pose with the trophy. He captioned:"What a beautiful madness..."

In the second picture, he was pictured with his goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez who saved three penalties in the semi final against Colombia. 

Messi also flaunted his two awards he received in the tournament. Messi was named the Best Player, and the top scorer of the competition. He added the caption "Congrats Beast" in his Instagram post.
