Harry Kane missing from Tottenham's squad to face Manchester City but Guardiola's £100m star Jack Grealish starts

Tottenham Hotspur set to kick off their 2021-2022 Premier League season against Manchester City. The London club will host the Premier League champions at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium this evening.


Recall that Tottenham finished in seventh position while Manchester City were crowned Champions of the Premier League.

Tottenham Hotspur have appointed former Wolverhampton coach Nuno Espirito Santo after they sacked Jose Mourinho.

Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed that Harry Kane will not be available for the game. The England international has been speculated to leave the club summer. 

According to Daily Mail Online, Manchester City have offered Tottenham Hotspur £100m for Harry Kane but the bid has been rejected. 

Kane recently returned to training after his summer break. The striker lead England to the final of the 2020 European Championship. 

Meanwhile Pep Guardiola has started Jack Grealish in his attack. The England play maker joined Manchester City for record transfer fee from Aston Villa.
