Andy Roberson is left back who currently plays for Premier League club Liverpool and Scotland national team.
The 27-year-old is one of the most sort "left-back" in Europe following his "attacking qualities" on the pitch.
Andy Robertson was "forced off" during their friendly game over the weekend Spanish club, Athletic Bilbao. The former Hull City defender twisted his right ankle in the first half. Liverpool played 1-1 draw against Athletic Bilbao at Anfield on Sunday.
The injury has led to "panic" in the Reds "dressing room" ahead of the 2021-2022 season. Recall that they finished third last season after "several players" were ruled out due to injuries.
On Monday (August 9th 2021), Andy Robertson was pictured leaving the hospital on crutches with his right foot in a brace. He has taken to his social media space to provide update for his fans.
Roberson appreciated his fans for their support while revealing that he suffered ankle ligament damage which doesn't require surgery.
Andy Robertson will miss the start of the Premier League season against Norwich City on August 14th. He will also miss Burnley and Chelsea games. The 27-year-old is expected to recover for Liverpool's trip to Leeds United on September 12.
