Premier League Club, Tottenham Hotspur shares epic throwback of their team's group photo 139 years ago

Premier League celebrated her 139th anniversary today, Sunday September 5th. Tottenham Hotspur shared throwback photos of their first first team photo as well as other epic snaps from the past. 

Tottenham Hotspur Football Club, commonly referred to as Tottenham or Spurs, is an English professional football club based in Tottenham, London.

The London based club also called Lilly Whites was founded on 5 September 1882; 139 years ago.

Tottenham won the FA Cup for the first time in 1901, the only non-League club to do so since the formation of the Football League in 1888. Spurs have won two league titles, eight FA Cups, four League Cups, and seven FA Community Shields in England. While they have won one European Cup Winners' Cup and two UEFA Cups in Europe.
