Arsenal recorded 2-0 win over Newcastle United at the Emirates stadium on Saturday early kick off.

Second half goals from Bukayo Saka and substitute Gabriel Martinelli secured the three points for Mikel Arteta side.

It's been gathered that the Gunners are currently sweating on the injury of 20 years old Bukayo Saka.

The English international scored the opening goal after the hour mark before he pulled out due to a muscle injury.

After the game, Arteta said that Saka will undergo a scan tomorrow to determine the extent of the injury.

"It was an action where he said he felt something. He wasn’t comfortable to continue," Arteta told reporters.

"We will have to assess him tomorrow and probably scan him to see if there is an injury there. He felt something muscular, we will see what it is."

Saka was replaced by Gabriel Martinelli who scored the second the goal after he connected to Tomiyasu cross.
