Liverpool dominated Everton in the win against their next door neighbors at Goodison Park on Wednesday night.
It was an early start for Jurgen Klopp side who took the lead after nine minute when Jordan Henderson curled a perfect left-footed shot into the back of Jordan Pickford's net.
The Reds added the second after awful Everton defending allowing Mohamed Salah a one-on-one against Pickford, and he duly placed the ball into the upper right side of the net, prompting mass boos from the home crowd.
Everton pulled a goal back just before half-time whistle all thanks to poorly defended long throw saw Demarai Gray break through beyond the Liverpool backline, and he sidefooted his shot through the legs of Alisson Becker and into the net.
Mohamed Salah scored hi second goal on the night after Coleman failed to bring the ball under control, and Salah nipped in.
