Gavi plays with his boots laces untied because he doesn’t know how to tie them - Barcelona coach Xavi

Barcelona coach Xavi Hernandez has finally revealed the reason his 17 years old youngster plays with his laces untied. 

Gavi happens to be one of the hottest youngsters in the current Barcelona squad. The Spanish international has been spotted playing without tying his laces. 

Over the weekend, he created an assist for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to score and he was pictured with his boot laces untied. 

According to Xavi, the La Masia youngster had been playing like that since he was young. 

Xavi said: “Gavi has been playing with his laces untied since he was very young. 

The former Barcelona legend added that Gavi plays without tying his laces because he doesn't know how to tie them.  

He added: “It’s because he doesn’t know how to tie them well. He doesn’t care and he plays like that.”
