The Blues bounce back from losing to Brentford last week. Alonso and Havertz scored as Thomas Tuchel's men recorded a five star performance.
Marcos Alonso's strike in the 7 minutes put the Blues in the lead before Mason Mount volley on the edge of the box made it 2-0 after 15 minutes.
Chelsea finished the first half with a two more goal from Timo Werner and Kai Havertz.
In the second half, Werner and Mason Mount got their brace.
Chelsea have steadied their position in third place in the Premier League with this win against Southampton. The Blues have kept a clean sheet in 14 of their 30 games.
