Luis Suarez bids farewell to Atletico Madrid fans in tears (Photos)

Luis Suarez played his final home game for Atletico Madrid this evening against Sevilla. 

The Uruguay international was emotional during his farewell to the fans at the Wanda Metropolitano stadium on Sunday evening during their 1-1 draw. 

Meanwhile Atlético fans said goodbye to Luis Suárez after the club announced he would be leaving this summer. 

The club displayed a banner which reads in English ‘Thank you Lucho for making us champions’

Recall that Suarez guided Diego Simeone side to clinch the La Liga title last season following his shock move from Barcelona.
