Manchester United wrapped up their final home game for the season with a comfortable 3-0 win over Brentford on Monday night.
The Red Devils gave Ralf Rangnick who is leaving his role as Caretaker due to appointment of Erik ten Hag ahead of next season.
It's also been gathered that Manchester stars; Nemanja Matic and Juan Mata Cavani and Phil Jones are expected to leave at the end of campaign due to contract expiration.
Bruno Fernandes set the pace of the game after 9 minutes. It all started from Diogo Dalot who swung a pass into the channel for Anthony Elanga to chase. The young Swede produced enough acceleration to reach the ball before it went out, and hooked a cross back for Fernandes to thump home an emphatic volley.
In the second half, Manchester United added two more goals from Ronaldo and Varane who scored his first goal for the club.
Ronaldo who converted from the penalty spot after 61 minutes when he knocked Rico Henry off the ball and then went down under the defender’s clumsy recovery challenge. The ref awarded a penalty and Ronaldo scored his 18 goal of the season.
Then Rafael Varane volleyed the third from a corner off Pontuss Jansen’s knee in the 72nd minute.
