Memphis Depay meets Ghana president Nana Akufo-Addo and presents him with Barcelona shirt during his vacation to West Africa

Barcelona star Memphis Depay is on vacation in Ghana. It's a gathered that 28-year-old decided to visit his mother's land and will take time out to visit his foundation for several charity projects during his stay in West African region. 

The 28-year-old star is known to be of Ghanaian descent but currently plays for the Netherlands national team. 

The former PSV and Manchester United star was excited after he met the Ghanaian president Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo. 

Memphis expressed his excitement about his trip to Ghana as well as meeting the president whom he presented with a Barcelona shirt. 

He tweeted: "Grateful to meet the president of a country that I love so much.

Coming back home feels always amazing and Ghana is the future y’all stay tune! 🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭Oh and you know I had to bring a jersey of the best club in the world for the mister President"

In another slide, he was pictured enjoying a stroll in the street of Ghana at a neighborhood where he was welcomed by multitude of fans.
