Barcelona 3-3 Manchester City: Mahrez scores stoppage time equaliser as Guardiola leaves Camp Nou with draw in friendly game (Highlights) 2022-23

Manchester City faced Barcelona in a friendly game at the Camp Nou on Wednesday night.

Pep Guardiola returned to his familiar ground to play a charity game with the Blaugrana.

Although the both Guardiola and Xavi Hernandez fielded a strong starting XI to thrill the thousands of fans who came to watch two European gaints go head to head.

It was Manchester City that took the lead after 20 minutes. Argentine youngster Julian Alvarez scored the opening goal of the game.

If you recall that Alvarez joined Manchester City in January from Argentine club River Plate but was loaned back. He has now returned to the team.

But eight minutes later, Barcelona equalised from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

The 33-year-old striker scored with a volley to make it 1-1.

In the second half, Barcelona took the lead for the first time in the game after Frenkie De Jong scored in the 65 minutes.

Manchester City youngster Palmer made it 2-2 four minutes later.

Memphis Depay thought he had scored the winner in the 78 minutes of the game until City equalised.

Then, Riyad Mahrez grabbed the City's third goal in the 90th-minute
