24 years old Manchester United star has taken to his social media space to apologize to the fans for his language during goal celebration against Liverpool.

Marcus Rashford scored the winner as Manchester United recorded 2-1 win over their arch rival in Liverpool at Old Trafford stadium on Monday night.

The Reds have suffered back to back defeats against Brighton Hove Albion on opening day and Brentford a week later.

But Erik Den Hag looked a different side when they took on Jurgen Klopp's men.

Jadon Sancho scored the opening goal for the Red Devils to put them in the lead before Rashford added the second in the 53 minutes.

During his goal celebration, Rashford made use of swear words which weren't appropriate.

Taking to his Twitter timeline, Rashford tweeted, 'Please excuse my language it was just in the heat of the moment' following by a laughing emoji.

Meanwhile, Liverpool got a goal back after Mohamed Salah scored in the closing stages. But United held on to claimed the deserved three points.
