Manchester United annouced 28-year-old defender, Eric Bailly leaves the club to join Marseille

Manchester United have confirmed the exit of their 28 years old defender.

It's been gathered that Eric Bailly has joined French side Marseille on a season loan deal.

The Ivory Coast international will spend the entire 2022-23 season with the Ligue 1 side after he has been unable to find starting shirt at Old Trafford stadium.

Eric Bailly has fallen down the pecking order in the defense of Manchester United.

Eric has made 113 appearances for the club, scoring one goal since he arrived in 2016.

The 28-year-old power playing defender has won the Europa League, EFL Cup and Community Shield with the Red Devils.
