Ex Tottenham Hotspur star, Tom Huddlestone, 35, bags coaching role at Manchester United

35 years old former English footballer has expressed his excitement after he has been appointed a player-coach at Manchester United. 

Thomas Andrew Huddlestone is an English professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder. 

It's been gathered that the former Hull City and Tottenham Hotspur midfielder, 35, has been appointed coach of Red Devils' academy. 

If you recall that Huddlestone was released by Championship side Hull City at the end of last season. 

Tom Huddlestone will coach the academy team of Manchester United while he will also play for the Under-21s team in 2022/23 season. 

Taking to his social media space, he posted image of himself at the United's academy base with the caption which reads: "Over the moon to announce I have been given the opportunity at this amazing football club to help coach and develop the next generation of talent coming through the system. Grateful and honoured , now time to give back to the younger generation #MUFC."
