28 years old Manchester City star has taken to his social media space to to share throwback snap of himself at the academy of Benfica.
Bernardo Silva is a professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Premier League club Manchester City and Portugal national team.
The Portugal international paid tribute to his close friend who helped in his football development during his time at Benfica.
He captioned the post: "A great friend that I will keep forever in my heart! "
Bernardo Silva was Born in Lisbon, Silva came through Benfica's youth academy. He began playing for Benfica B in 2013 and was promoted to the first-team in 2014.
He joined Ligue 1 side Monaco during the 2014–15 on loan where he won the French League.
Bernardo Silva completed £43.5 million deal to Manchester City in 2017.
