"17 years ago, I dropped this classic" - Singer Timaya celebrates debut album, "True Story"

41 years old Nigerian musician has taken to his social media space to celebrate his debut album, "True Story."

Inetimi Timaya Odon, better known by his stage name Timaya, shared throwback of the album cover.

Timaya hails from Odi, Bayelsa state, South-South Nigeria. He is fondly called the Egberi Papa 1 of Bayelsa as a tribute to his grassroots in his music.

The album "True Story was released in 2007 which several hit songs. He asked fans for their favourite track from the project.

Sharing his excitement on his Twitter timeline, he captioned:"17 years ago, I dropped this classic, whats your favourite track off the album?"
