Joe Aribo came off the bench to score the goal that helped the Saints draw a point against Leeds United who threw away two goals in the lead.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria midfielder played the first game of the day with Saint Mary's from the bench on Saturday afternoon.

Joe Aribo happens to be a new player in Southampton this summer. He is a player from Scottish club Rangers FC.

Joe Aribo replaced Stuart Armstrong in the 64th minute, and Aribo was able to make an immediate impression in the field.


Super Eagles of Nigeria star scored his first English Premier League goal for the club during their draw at 2-2 with Leeds United football club.




Leeds United football club broke the deadlock with Rodrigo at the end of 46 minutes. And the Spaniard added a second goal at the end of the game in the sixtyth minute.


The substitute Nigerian national Joe Aribo made it 2-1 by scoring a goal of awe within the 72nd second. Kyle Walker-Peters scored to make it 2-2 for Southampton FC in the 81st minute to draw the game with a score of 2-2.
