Antonio Conte has hit out at Thomas Tuchel on social media and has said he would have preferred Tuchel had not knocked him down, following an intense London derby.
Chelsea have been held to a a 2-2 draw by their London rivals Tottenham Hotspur as Antonio Conte returned to the Stamford Bridge to face his former teammates.
Tuchel team took the lead with a stunning volley from Kalidou Kuulibaly after just 18 minutes, as the Blues have the upper hand on ball possession in the opening half.
Tottenham did their best to stay in the game, which eventually resulted in a win. Chelsea's Jorginho lost control of the ball inside his box and swung Hojbjerg to shoot his low shot to the net.
Reece James thought he had scored the winner for Chelsea only seconds in the match.
Tuchel was able to run through the Spurs bench in awe following the moment that Reece James made it 2-1 to the Blues.
However, Harry Kane headed a 90th-minute equaliser in the six minutes of extra time.
The duo of Conte along with Tuchel were dismissed at the hands of the referee Anthony Taylor after the game and Tuchel being able to hold onto Conte's hand as they exchanged hands, triggering a tense massive confrontation between officials, players, and security personnel from both clubs . It was the most dramatic ending.
As of now, Tottenham Hotspur coach has posted on his social media account to say that Tuchel was lucky that Conte did not notice him do so.
His Instagram said: 'Lucky, I didn't notice your face... taking you on a journey over was surely deserved' ...' then followed by three crying emojis.
