Barcelona set to file law suit against Atletico Madrid who are refusing to pay $40M for Antoine Griezmann

Barcelona are preparing a lawsuit against Atlético over the payment of $40M for Griezmann.

The Camp Nou side are currently unhappy with the contract situation of Antoine Griezmann who is currently on loan at Atletico Madrid.

The 30 years old returned to the Wanda Metropolitano stadium for two years loan from Barcelona.

Reportminds Blog understands that Griezmann hasn't been able to start any game for Diego Simeone side this season.

Atlético Madrid are expected to pay $40m only if the French forward plays 50% or more of the minutes while on loan.

This has seen Griezmann come off the bench after the 60th minute all season at Atletico Madrid during his loan spell.

It appears that Barcelona aren't happy with the situation and they are open to sort it out legally in the court.

Griezmann came off the bench on Wednesday night to score the winner for Atletico Madrid against Porto in the Champions League.
