Chelsea star Kai Havertz scored brace as Germany held England to thrilling draw in their UEFA Nations League game. 

Kai Havertz who is 22 years old is a German professional footballer who plays as attacking midfielder for Premier League club, Chelsea. 

The former Bayern Leverkusen star shined in the game on Monday night at the Wembley stadium after he netted a late equaliser. 

Iikay Gundogan scored the opening goal from penalty spot to give Germany the lead.

Kai Havertz scored his first goal of the game in the 67th minute to make it 2-0 in favour of Germany. 
But goals from Luke Shaw, Mason Mount and Harry Kane turned the game around got Gareth Southgate side. 

Kai Havertz netted his second goal in the 87th minute to settle for a point as he helped Germany to secure a hard-fought draw .

Following Kai Havertz goal against England, the former Leverkusen star become the first Germany national team player to score a brace at Wembley Stadium since 1996;


"Kai Havertz is the first player to score a brace for the German national team at Wembley Stadium since Oliver Bierhoff in the final of the EURO 1996 against Czech Republic national team," the statistics reads.
