Chelsea annouced the sack of Thomas Tuchel following their disappointing 1-0 defeat to Dynamo Zagreb on Tuesday night.
The West London side started their campaign in Champions League with defeat, which has cost the German boss his job.
Prior to Tuchel sack, Chelsea haven't been convincing enough this season in the Premier League.
The Blues are currently in eight position in the Premier League table after six games played so far.
Although, Tuchel have spent a world record £273m in the summer transfer window.
Todd Boehly, who is Chelsea new owner and sporting director are close to appointing new manager.
The following coaches are in the race to take over the job at Stamford Bridge....
1. ZINEDINE ZIDANE
The 50 years old French ex international is currently vacant at the moment.
Zidane was tipped to take over at Paris Saint-Germain before they finally appointed ex Nice manager, Christopher Galtier.
Zidane took charge of Real Madrid on two different occasions where he won the UEFA Champions League as well as the La Liga title.
2. MAURICIO POCHETTINO
The Argentine boss is yet to get another job since he was sacked as manager of Paris Saint-Germain last season.
Pochettino left his role as coach of the Ligue 1 side after his team's disappointing outing in the Champions League, losing in both legs in the semi-finals against Manchester City as well as finishing second in the league to eventual winners Lille in 2020.
Although, The former Tottenham Hotspur manager finished the season with a win in the Coupe de France Final.
3. GRAHAM POTTER
The 48 years old football tactician is currently the manager of Premier League side, Brighton Hove Albion.
Graham Potter has been able to improve the Seagulls since he arrived from Swansea City in 2018.
Remember that Potter guided Brighton to 12th place finish in the Premier League last term.
The former English international has displayed his football philosophy at the Amex stadium which is currently reflecting on their performances.
So far, Brighton sits in fourth position in the Premier League this season after six games.
