The 22-year-old has adapted to Pep Guardiola style at City which had seen him score 15 goals so far in the Premier League.
Haaland was named the man of the match as he scored and created an assist.
Although, Erik Den Hag side reduced the deficit with three goals from Antony Santos and brace from Anthony Martial.
