"He's a big powerful boy that can run a lot. Yes" - Graham Potter praises 18 years old Carney Chukwuemeka after Chelsea home debut

Chelsea boss Graham Potter has praised his 19 years old winger Carney Chukwuemeka following his home debut. 

The England U-19 came into the game during Chelsea's draw against Southampton. 

The Blues were unable to find the back of the net in their home game against Southampton at the Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night. 

Recall that Chelsea signed the teenage winger for fee in region of £20m from Aston Villa in the summer. 

Carney Chukwuemeka signed six years deal with the Blues as he looked to be a player for the future. 

Chukwuemeka replaced Mason Mount in the 62nd minute against Brentford football club in the game.

Speaking after the game, Potter said: “He's a big powerful boy that can run a lot. Yes, I really like him. He's a young player but he's got exciting attributes, so we just need to help him reach his potential”.
