N’Golo Kante set to miss 4 months after undergoing an operation on his hamstring injury


Chelsea have confirmed that N'Golo Kante has undergone a successful surgery.

The French international who is 30 years old expected miss Les Blues campaign at the 2022 World Cup Qatar this year.

Kante has been out of action since he suffered the hamstring injury in Chelsea's 2-2 draw with Tottenham Hotspur in August.

The former Leicester City midfielder has been struggling with the injury this term which has seen him play limited games.

Chelsea and the player "mutually agreed for N’Golo to have surgery to repair the damage."

The West London side revealed that "N’Golo is now expected to be sidelined for four months."
