Vlahovic scored the only goal of the game as Juventus edged out Torino to move above Inter in the Serie A table. Winning the corner after having a header saved by Milinkovic-Savic, the striker met Danilo’s flick-on to convert the ball into the net from close range. His decisive goal in the second half came after what was a cagey first.
The Serbian could have found the opener in the 34th minute but struck the ball straight at the goalkeeper from inside the box. Apart from the former Florentina man, it was Locatelli who had the best opportunity to break the deadlock, with his bouncing effort tipped over by Milinkovic-Savic.
The home side had 15 shots during the content but struggled to test Szczesny, with just two being on target. Both were tame, with curling attempts from Miranchuk and Vlasic going straight at the Polish international. Radonjic was busy in the opening 45 minutes, but was quiet in the second and was substituted with 20 minutes remaining.
