Wolverhampton have responded to Nottingham Forest shade on social media following their win at Molineux. 

The Wolves recorded 1-0 win over Forest in their Premier League clash on Saturday evening. 

Ruben Neves celebrates penalty for Wolves against Nottingham



Ruben Neves scored the only goal of the game to give the home side the three points as Nottingham Forest remain in 18 position in the Premier League table. 

Although Forest were presented a chance to get a draw from penalty spot in the 79 minutes. 

But Brennan Johnson missed the penalty after Wolves goalkeeper Sa gets down to his left and parries the effort clear. 


If you recall that the during the week, Nottingham Forest took a swipe at Wolves ahead of the game. 


Forest shared photo of their striker Emmanuel Dennis photoshopped with several packs of Wolves. The caption reads: "playtime." 

But after the result on Saturday, Wolverhampton have responded with their post on their official twitter account. 


Wolves shared a photo of an axe standing on a tree that was cut off. The caption reads: "playtime's over."
