UEFA Champions League: Liverpool thrashed Ajax 3-0. Salah, Nunez and Elliott sealed Reds round of 16 qualification

Goals from Mohamed Salah, Darwin Nunez and Harvey Elliott sealed Liverpoo3-0 win against Ajax.

The Reds claimed the second spot to book their round of 16 spot with a game to spare after their win in Amsterdam on Wednesday night.

Mohamed Salah scored the opening go after 42 minutes when he latched onto Jordan Henderson's outside-of-the-boot pass.

In second half Darwin Nunez made it 2-0 in the 49 minutes with powerful header in from a corner. Before Harvey Elliott who is 19 years old scored his first goal in Champions League. 

The youngster nettedthird in the 52 minutes as he smack home at the near post.
