Arsenal football club have appointed their first ever spoting director in club's history

Arsenal have announced their first sporting event director in thr history of the club. 

It appears that the north London side has going on a positive uplift with their latest step. 

The club have confirmed that Edu Gaspar as its first-ever sporting director. 

If you recall that Edu served as the technical coordinator for Corinthians and the Brazil national team until joining Arsenal in 2019.

The former Arsenal and Brazil international was responsible for high-profile arrivals like Martin Odegaard, Aaron Ramsdale, Ben White, and Gabriel Jesus.

Reportminds Blog understands that since the arrival of Edu at the Emirates stadium, the Gunners have looked at signing young and talented players for the future.

The club's new sporting director has been named, according to a tweet from Arsenal's official Twitter account. Eduardo César Daud Gaspar.

"We are happy to announce that Edu Gaspar has been selected as our first-ever Sporting Director," the announcement reads. 

Edu was also key to Arsenal's appointment or Mikel Arteta two year ago while he was Pep Guardiola assistant at Manchester City.
