Barcelona defender, Gerard Pique got sent off against Osasuna during half-time after Comments made at referee Jesus Gil Manazo

Barcelona star Gerard Pique was sent off for his comment at the match official during their 2-1 win over Osasuna.

Xavi Hernandez side extended thrit lead at the top of La Liga table following their hard fought win away from home on Tuesday night.

Barcelona finished the game with ten men after Robert Lewandowski and  Gerard Pique were sent off before the second half.

The first red card came after Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski receive a second yellow card for an elbow on David Garcia while contesting for a ball in the air.

Barcelona were down by a goal after David Gracia scored the opening goal in the sixth minutes.

Then Gerard Pique was sent off before even entering the pitch at half time. 

The 35 years old Spanish defender was named as a substitute for the match as he set to play his final game for Barcelona.

Reportminds Blog understands that Pique was clearly unhappy with the officials, he then confronted the referee Jesus Gil Manzano at halftime.

Referee Jesus Gil shown him a red card while they were in the tunnel at half time. 

According to the The referee’s report claimed Pique said: ‘You are the referee who has most screwed Barcelona by some distance."
