"Today became one of the most difficult moments of my career" - PSG star Neymar breaks down in tears after injury at World Cup

Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar has taken to his social media space to express his disappointment after suffering injury which has ruled him out of Brazil's World Cup Group stage games.

Brazil will finish the group stage games without their talisman, Neymar after he sustained a serious injury on his ankle.

It's been gathered that the former Barcelona star was substituted against Serbia with the ankle issue.

Recall that coach Tite side started their 2022 World Cup campaign with 2-0 win over Serbia on Thursday.

Two goals from Richarlison in the second half ensured that the Seleaco takes three points.

But The Brazil attacker suffered a right ankle injury in the second half of the win over Serbia that will keep him out until at least the last 16.

Brazil will face Switzerland in their second game of the Group with Neymar expected to miss the game.

"Today became one of the most difficult moments of my career. Again in a World Cup. I am injured. It hurts, but I'm sure I'll be able to come back. I will do my best to help my country, my teammates and myself," Neymar said in a post on his social media on Friday Nov 26th 2022.

Meanwhile the Brazil team doctor Rodrigo Lasmar said on Friday that the PSG star will miss at least Monday's clash against the Swiss, in which Brazil could qualify early for the last 16.

In addition  first-choice right-back Danilo will also miss Brazil's second outing with a left ankle injury which means veteran right back, 38, Dani Alves could start the game.
