The 50-year-old was among the shortlisted names to taken over at Old Trafford stadium after Ralph Rangnick left last season.
But the Argentine coach said that ‘timing’wasn't right to return to England,as he came close to being appointed coach of Manchester United until the club moved to name Erik Den Hag.
Reportminds Blog understands that Pochettino is currently out of job since he was sacked by PSG in the summer of last year.
Pochettino has managed top clubs such as Espanyol, Southampton, Tottenham and most recently Paris Saint-Germain.
The former Tottenham Hotspur manager has refused to rule out a move back to England in the future.
“Soccer is ‘timing. These are the moments for it to coincide and for that marriage to happen. Sometimes it’s just a matter of time,” he said, according to Metro.
“I don’t believe in trains passing only once. I think that sometimes you have to have the necessary patience and you have to know how to wait.
“The ‘timing’ is handled by football, it is true that my name has always been associated with big clubs.”
