Super Eagles coach, Jose Peseiro predicts two teams that can win 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar

Super Eagles head coach, Jose Peseiro, has revealed his two favourite countries to win the 2022 World Cup. 

The Portugese coach has picked his native country, Portugal and holders France as the top teams to win the competition in Qatar.

It's understood that the FIFA competition is expected to kick off on November 20th with the host nation, Qatar will face Ecuador on Sunday.

Recall that the Super Eagles of Nigeria were thrashed 4-0 by Portugal national team in a friendly game on Thursday.

Peseiro however believed that France and Portugal have what it takes to rule the world.

“The individual quality of these players is tremendous, and so is the competitive level. Our coaches and players did not have this dimension,” Peseiro told reporters.

“That’s why I say it’s the selection with more solutions and more quality. Apart from France, which may be the most favorite, there’s no one else you can say that to. Being world champion is more open.”
