The Gunners may still be missing four first-team players for their match against Brighton on Saturday as they look to win back-to-back games when they return to Premier League action.
On Boxing Day, Arsenal continued where they left off before the World Cup, defeating West Ham 3-1 to increase their advantage atop the Premier League.

But for that match against the Brighton Hove Albion, the Gunners were still missing four key members of their first team, despite Mikel Arteta's squad demonstrating their ability to perform admirably without Gabriel Jesus in attack.
The Spaniard will however be praying for no more setbacks before the travel to play Brighton on Saturday.
Below is the list of injured Arsenal players as well their injury updates....
Emile Smith Rowe
Emile Smith Rowe is getting closer to playing again as he accelerates his rehabilitation from a chronic groin ailment that has kept him out of the lineup since September.
Despite a slight setback at the beginning of the month, the offensive midfielder is currently back in first team practice. The 22-year-old is anticipated to continue missing the New Year's Eve trip to Brighton since Arteta is unwilling to take a chance by sending him back early.
Gabriel Jesus
Jesus, a Brazilian striker who injured his knee during the 2022 World Cup, underwent surgery and is now on the path to recovery.
Reiss Nelson
After suffering a thigh injury in the 2-0 friendly loss to Juventus on December 17, Arsenal winger Reiss Nelson is the newest player to be added to the long-term injury list.
Due to a thigh injury, Reiss Nelson will be absent for a number of "weeks."
The 23-year-old played in each of Arsenal's three mid-season friendlies, but his recent injury dealt a serious blow to his campaign and he will likely be out for some time.
Tomiyasu Takehiro
Takehiro Tomiyasu may be among the players to make a comeback for the South Coast trip on Saturday as the defender is getting closer to a return to full health.
As he continues to recuperate from a hamstring strain in his injury-plagued season, the Japanese international was left out of the Boxing Day triumph over West Ham. However, there is optimism that he may pass a late fitness test to rejoin the matchday squad against Brighton this weekend.
Tomiyasu's comeback may be crucial given Arsenal's busy schedule of games during the holiday season. But in the upcoming hours and days, Arteta is anticipated to give an update on his condition.
