Arsenal have continued their pursuit for Shakhtar Donetsk forward Mikhailo Mudryk and Joao Felix from Atletico Madrid in January.
In an effort to make up for the loss of Gabriel Jesus due to injury, Arsenal wants to acquire both Mikhailo Mudryk and Joao Felix during the January transfer window.
With a 3-1 victory over West Ham in their first competitive match without their summer signing from Manchester City, the Gunners demonstrated class in their claim to the Premier League title this title.
The knee injury Gabriel Jesus suffered while playing for Brazil at the World Cup is expected to keep him out until March, but Arsenal made light of his absence on Monday by scoring goals from all three of their starting front line players, including Eddie Nketiah, who played in his place.
Arsenal sources are confident that a deal will be reached, despite the fact that Shakhtar Donetsk have already rejected one offer for Ukraine international winger Mudryk that was below their valuation. However, additional talks are scheduled to take place in the near future.
Atletico Madrid, on the other hand, have determined that Felix is no longer needed, despite Diego Simeone's public insistence that he still relies on the Portugal international.
However, it is believed that Felix's agent, Jorge Mendes, has offered the versatile forward to a number of Premier League teams, with Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United all interested in a six-month loan deal.
