Ayanwola Oluwabamise, a killed 21-year-old fashion designer who was discovered dead after boarding a Bus Rapid Transit (BRT), was finally put to rest on Friday amid tears in Atan cemetery in Lagos State.
Human rights advocates, relatives, friends, churchgoers, and neighbors were among the mourners who lined up to pay their final respects and provide freewill messages before the body was buried at around 11.20am.

On November 30, 2022, the deceased fashion designer celebrated his 22nd posthumous birthday at Oko-Oba, Agege, Lagos.

Recall that on Saturday, February 26, 2022, at around 7 o'clock at Chevron, Lekki, Bamise boarded a Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) headed for Oshodi and went missing.

Sadly, on Monday, March 7, 2022, her rotting body was discovered on the side of the road on Ebute-Ero/Carter Bridge, Lagos Island.

Since then, the body has been in the morgue until being buried on Friday.

Before a Lagos High Court in Tafawa Balewa Square, the bus driver Andrew Nice Ominikoron is charged with conspiracy, rape, and murder in connection with the death of Ayanwola (TBS).
