After a "successful operation" on his severe knee injury, Armando Broja posts a picture of himself lying in bed in the hospital.

The Chelsea forward has affirmed he has had effective medical procedure on his serious knee injury as the Chelsea forward gets ready for recovery.

Following an innocent attack on Ezri Konsa earlier this month, the 21-year-old defender sustained an injury during Chelsea's friendly match with Aston Villa and was subsequently ruled out for the remainder of the season.

After undergoing surgery on Wednesday morning, Broja shared a positive message on Instagram.

Broja will presently miss the remainder of the time and spotlight on arrangements for the following semester. After spending the previous season on loan at Southampton, Broja has had a difficult season at Chelsea.

The Albanian has been able to persuade Chelsea to keep him at Stamford Bridge this season rather than sending him back on loan by scoring nine goals for Saints across all competitions in 2021 and 2022.

However, Broja only started two league games for the Blues during his time with the team under Graham Potter and Thomas Tuchel.

Broja is well behind Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Kai Havertz in the Chelsea pecking order, despite scoring his first goal in the 3-0 win over Wolves in October.
