Croatia star, Perisic reacts to photo of Brazil star Neymar hugging his son

Croatia and Tottenham Hotspur star Ivan Perisic thanked Neymar and expressed how much his son appreciated the hug.

Recall that Croatia advanced into the semi final stage of the ongoing World Cup 2022 in Qatar after victory over Brazil.

The PSG forward, Neymar gave the South Americans the lead with an incredible extra-time goal, giving him the chance to lead them into the last four in Qatar. However, Bruno Petkovic's dramatic equalizer in the dying seconds and Croatia's subsequent successful set of penalties meant defeat for Tite's team.

After the penalty shoot out which saw Brazil lose 4-2 missing two of their spot kicks, Perisic son was seen consoling Neymar who was in tears.

The 28-year-old PSG star cried after the defeat to Croatia but Ian, son of Perisic raced into the pitch to hug the Brazilian.

Despite being on the losing end of Brazil's World Cup quarterfinal shootout defeat, Neymar intervened to prevent a child of Croatian star Ivan Perisic from being stopped by security.

While the European team celebrated their victory, Neymar broke down in tears but quickly collected himself to prevent a fascinating scenario from developing with security. Children were permitted to join in the victory celebrations when Croatia was winning.
